Sukta 33
áṅge áṅge lómni lómni yás te párvaṇi párvaṇi | yákṣmaṁ tvacasyàḥ te vayáṁ kaśyápasya vībarhéṇa víṣvañcam ví vṛ́hamasi ||
In limb after limb, in hair after hair, which of thine is in joint after joint—thy cutaneous wasting-disease: that, all-pervading, we, with Kaśyapa’s vībarha, tear forth and rend away.
Rishi: Kaśyapa (invoked; the hymn is within the Kaśyapa-associated healing current)
Devata: Yákṣma (as the targeted affliction/demon); remedial power mediated through Kaśyapa and the ‘vībarha’
Chandas: Anuṣṭubh (probable; requires metrical verification against a padapāṭha-accented edition)
Primary: adbhuta
Secondary: vira
