Sukta 7
yáś ca sapátnáḥ śapáthó jāmyā́ḥ śapátháś ca yáḥ | bráhmā yán manyutáḥ śapā́t sárvaṃ tán no adhás-padam
Whoso is rival, and the curse—yea, the kinsman’s curse—and whatsoever curse there be; whatever Brahman-power, from wrath, from cursing, hath arisen: all that, for us, be set beneath our feet.
Rishi: Atharvanic/Angirasa tradition (attribution varies by anukramaṇī for this cluster; commonly treated as Atharvanic protective speech).
Devata: Śapatha/Śāpa-nivṛtti (the neutralization of curse); implicitly Brahman (sacred speech) as the operative power.
Chandas: Anuṣṭubh (4 pādas of 8 syllables; with Atharvanic flexibility)
Primary: vira
Secondary: raudra
