निवृत्तायां तु वै तस्यामनावृष्ट्यां तु ते द्विजाः । तीर्थयात्रानिमित्तं तु प्रयातुं मनसोऽभवन् ॥ ७१.१९ ॥

nivṛttāyāṁ tu vai tasyām anāvṛṣṭyāṁ tu te dvijāḥ | tīrthayātrānimittaṁ tu prayātuṁ manaso 'bhavan || 71.19 ||

Als jener Regen jedoch aufhörte und Dürre eintrat, wurden jene Zweimalgeborenen (Brahmanen), unter dem Vorwand einer Pilgerfahrt zu heiligen Tīrthas, im Geist zum Aufbruch geneigt.
