The Manifestation of Viṣṇu’s Form for Cosmic Governance
the Vaiṣṇava Creation Narrative

It reflects a common Purāṇic cosmological motif in which creation and dissolution are framed through the deity’s contemplative states, linking narrative cosmology with yogic terminology such as yoga-nidrā.
No geographic location is named in this verse; the content is primarily cosmological and psychological (yogic sleep and manifestation of beings).
Rather than a direct moral injunction, the verse conveys a philosophical principle: disciplined contemplation (dhyāna) and ordered mental states are presented as foundational to cosmic order and the unfolding of living beings.
