Remembrance of the Slaying of Lavaṇa
श्रीवराह उवाच ॥ शत्रुघ्नेन पुरा घोरो लवणः सूदितो यथा ॥ द्विजानुग्रहकामार्थमन्नमुग्रस्वरूपिणम् ॥
śrīvarāha uvāca || śatrughnena purā ghoro lavaṇaḥ sūdite yathā || dvijānugrahakāmārtham annam ugrasvarūpiṇam ||
Śrī Varāha sprach: „Wie einst der schreckliche Lavaṇa von Śatrughna erschlagen wurde, und wie, um den Dvija (den Zweimalgeborenen) Gnade zu erweisen, Speise in furchterregender Gestalt erschien—das will ich berichten.“
