Varaha Purana 142.30 — Adhyaya 142, Shloka 30

The Greatness of Esoteric Practice: Menstrual Impurity, Mental Equanimity, and Seasonal Conjugal Ethics

FAQs

It reflects a common Purāṇic-Dharmaśāstra motif: individual conduct is framed as affecting ancestral lineages, reinforcing social ethics through intergenerational consequence language.

No geographic location is named.

Avoid actions driven by desire, greed, and delusion—especially in contexts governed by prescribed norms—because they are portrayed as carrying wider social and ancestral consequences.
