धरण्युवाच ॥ पुरुषा वा स्त्रियो वापि न पुमांसो न वा स्त्रियः ॥ कथं दोषेण मुच्यन्ते जन्मसंसारबन्धनात् ॥
dharaṇy uvāca | puruṣā vā striyo vāpi na pumāṁso na vā striyaḥ | kathaṁ doṣeṇa mucyante janma-saṁsāra-bandhanāt ||
Dharaṇī sprach: „Ob Männer oder Frauen—oder weder Mann noch Frau—wie werden sie von der Fessel von Geburt und Saṃsāra befreit, im Hinblick auf den ‘Makel’ (doṣa)?“
