दिनानि सप्त तिष्ठेत सप्त वै पायसेन च ॥ तक्रेण सप्त दिवसान्सप्त पावकभोजनः
dināni sapta tiṣṭhet sapta vai pāyasena ca || takreṇa sapta divasān sapta pāvakabhojanaḥ
Sieben Tage soll er (diese Übung) einhalten; dann wahrlich sieben (Tage) mit Pāyasa, Reis in Milch; sieben Tage mit Buttermilch; und sieben (Tage) Speise zu sich nehmen, die auf dem heiligen Feuer bereitet wurde.
