ब्राह्मणे पाण्डुरं छत्रं क्षत्रिये रक्तमेव च ॥ वैश्याय पीतं वै दद्याद्नीलं शूद्राय दापयेत्
brāhmaṇe pāṇḍuraṃ chatraṃ kṣatriye raktam eva ca || vaiśyāya pītaṃ vai dadyān nīlaṃ śūdrāya dāpayet
Einem Brāhmaṇa soll man einen blassen/weißen Sonnenschirm geben; einem Kṣatriya einen roten; einem Vaiśya soll man gewiss einen gelben geben; und einem Śūdra soll man einen blauen geben lassen.
