Guḍadhenu
अत ऊर्ध्वन्तु कर्तव्या गृहीवित्तानुसारतः । गन्धपुष्पादिभिः पूज्य ब्राह्मणाय निवेदयेत् ॥ श्रोत्रियाय प्रदातव्या सहस्रकनकेन तु । तदर्धेन महाराज तस्याप्यर्धेन वा पुनः ॥
ata ūrdhvantu kartavyā gṛhīvittānusārataḥ | gandhapuṣpādibhiḥ pūjya brāhmaṇāya nivedayet || śrotriyāya pradātavyā sahasrakanakena tu | tadardhena mahārāja tasyāpyardhena vā punaḥ ||
Von hier an soll es entsprechend dem Vermögen des Hausvaters vollzogen werden. Nachdem man (den Empfänger) mit Düften, Blumen und dergleichen geehrt hat, soll man es einem Brāhmaṇa darbringen. Es ist einem Śrotriya mit tausend (Einheiten) Gold zu geben; oder mit der Hälfte davon, o großer König, oder wiederum mit der Hälfte selbst dieser Hälfte.
