सोम उ षुवाणः सोतृभिरधि ष्णुभिरवीनाम् । अश्वयेव हरिता याति धारया मन्द्रया याति धारया ॥
Transliteration
sóma u ṣuvānáḥ sotṛ́bhir ádhi snúbhir avī́nām | áśvayā-iva harítā yāti dhā́rayā mandráyā yāti dhā́rayā ||
Translation
Soma wahrlich, von den Pressern gepresst, bewegt sich über die Kämme der Schafwolle. Wie ein Pferd zieht der goldgrüne dahin im Strom; im berauschenden Strom zieht er dahin.
