Devata: Soma Pavamana (the self-purifying Soma)

मृजानो वारे पवमानो अव्यये वृषाव चक्रदो वने । देवानां सोम पवमान निष्कृतं गोभिरञ्जानो अर्षसि ॥

mṛjānáḥ vā́re pávamāno avyáye vṛ́ṣā́va cakrado váne | devā́nāṃ soma pavamāna niṣkṛtáṃ góbhir añjānáḥ arṣasi ||

Sich in den Wassern reinigend, o Soma, als du durch das unvergängliche (wollene) Sieb strömst, als starker Stier, vollziehst du deinen strahlenden Lauf im Holz (der Presse). O Soma Pavāmāna, in der Läuterung strömst du hervor — für die Götter bereitet, von den Lichtstrahlen erhellt und gesalbt.
