Sukta 9.107
पुनानश्चमू जनयन्मतिं कविः सोमो देवेषु रण्यति । अपो वसानः परि गोभिरुत्तरः सीदन्वनेष्वव्यत ॥
punānáś camū́ janáyan matíṃ kavíḥ sómo devéṣu raṇyati | apó vásānaḥ pári góbhir úttarāḥ sī́dan váneṣv avyata ||
Sich läuternd erzeugt Soma, der Kavi, die camū — das innere Heer — und bringt die inspirierte Einsicht hervor; unter den Göttern findet er Freude. Mit den Wassern bekleidet und von den Strahlen, den Kühen des Lichts, umringt, steigt er empor, nimmt in den hölzernen Bottichen Platz und wird geseiht.
