अचेत्यग्निश्चिकितुर्हव्यवाट् स सुमद्रथः । अग्निः शुक्रेण शोचिषा बृहत्सूरो अरोचत दिवि सूर्यो अरोचत ॥
áceti agníś cikitúr havya-vā́ṭ sá sumád-rathaḥ | agníḥ śukréṇa śóciṣā bṛhát-sū́ro arocata diví sū́ryo arocata ||
Erwacht ist Agni — der Wissende, der Träger der Opfergabe; er kommt mit einem Wagen der Freude. Mit seiner lichten Flamme lässt er die weite Sonne erstrahlen; am Himmel wird die Sonne in Glanz offenbar.
