Transliteration
uktháṃ cana śasyámānam ágoḥ arír ā́ ciketa | ná gāyatráṃ gīyámānam ||
Translation
Selbst das feierliche Wort, wenn es verkündet wird, erkennt die feindliche Macht nicht; auch das Gāyatrī, wenn es gesungen wird, erfasst sie nicht — so geht der wahre Gesang am Feind des Lichts vorüber.
