Sukta 8.1
स्तुहि स्तुहीदेते घा ते मंहिष्ठासो मघोनाम् । निन्दिताश्वः प्रपथी परमज्या मघस्य मेध्यातिथे ॥
stuhí stuhī́d eté ghā te maṃhíṣṭhāso maghónām | ninditā́śvaḥ prapathī́ paramajyā́ maghásya medhyātithe ||
Lobe, lobe ja wahrlich: dies sind deine freigebigsten Kräfte, o Spender unter den Freigebigen. O Medhyātithi, schreite voran auf dem Pfad: die „Pferde“, die geschmäht wurden, werden zu den höchsten Anspannungen, wenn die Kraft der Gabe in uns recht entzündet wird.
