Sukta 6.29
एवेदिन्द्रः सुहव ऋष्वो अस्तूती अनूती हिरिशिप्रः सत्वा । एवा हि जातो असमात्योजाः पुरू च वृत्रा हनति नि दस्यून् ॥
evéd índraḥ suháva ṛ́ṣvo astū́tī anū́tī hiriśipráḥ sátvā | evā́ hí jā́to asamāti-ojā́ḥ purū́ ca vṛtrā́ hanati ní dasyū́n ||
So sei Indra der leicht Anzurufende, der Erhabene — unsere Hilfe und immer wieder Hilfe — der mit dem fahlen Bart, der Starke. Denn so, mit unbezwingbarer Kraft geboren, erschlägt er viele Vṛtra und stößt die Dasyu (Mächte der Finsternis) hinab.
