सदस्य मदे सद्वस्य पीताविन्द्रः सदस्य सख्ये चकार । रणा वा ये निषदि सत्ते अस्य पुरा विविद्रे सदु नूतनासः ॥

Transliteration

sád asya máde sádv asya pītā́v índraḥ sád asya sakhyé cakāra | raṇā́ vā yé niṣádi sát te asya purā́ vívidre sádu nū́tanāsaḥ ||

Translation

Wahr ist sein Rausch, wahr sein Trinken der Wonne; wahr ist, was Indra durch Freundschaft gestaltet hat. Wahr ist, was von alters her die im Kampf nahe Beisitzenden an ihm fanden – wahr auch, was die neuen Sucher jetzt finden.
