स्वदस्व हव्या समिषो दिदीह्यस्मद्र्यक्सं मिमीहि श्रवांसि । विश्वाँ अग्ने पृत्सु ताञ्जेषि शत्रूनहा विश्वा सुमना दीदिही नः ॥
svádasva havyā́ sámiṣo didīhy asmadryák sáṃ mimīhi śrávāṃsi | víśvān agne pṛtsú tā́ñ jeṣi śátrūn áhā víśvā su-manā́ dīdihī naḥ ||
Mache dir unsere Opfergaben süß; entflamme dich mit der Kraft des Anzündholzes und sammle zu uns die Kräfte des inspirierten Hörens. O Agni, in allen Kämpfen besiege jene Feinde; Tag um Tag, auf jede Weise, im Glanz guten Willens, erleuchte uns.
