Sukta 10.81
य इमा विश्वा भुवनानि जुह्वदृषिर्होता न्यसीदत्पिता नः । स आशिषा द्रविणमिच्छमानः प्रथमच्छदवराँ आ विवेश ॥
yá imā́ víśvā bhúvanāni júhvad ṛ́ṣir hótā ny ásīdat pitā́ naḥ | sá āśíṣā dráviṇam icchámānaḥ prathamác-chad ávarāṃ̐ ā́ viveśa ||
Er, der in der Opferhandlung all diese Welten darbringt — der Seher, der Hotar —, hat sich in uns niedergesetzt als unser Vater. Nach draviṇa verlangend durch die Kraft des Segens, trat er zuerst in die unteren Bereiche ein, sie verhüllend, um das Werk der Schöpfung in der Tiefe zu gründen.
