Sukta 10.40
युवं कवी ष्ठः पर्यश्विना रथं विशो न कुत्सो जरितुर्नशायथः । युवोर्ह मक्षा पर्यश्विना मध्वासा भरत निष्कृतं न योषणा ॥
yuváṃ kavī ṣṭháḥ páry aśvinā ráthaṃ víśo ná kútsaḥ jaritúr naśāyathaḥ | yuvór ha mákṣā páry aśvinā mádhvā́sā bharata níṣkṛtaṃ ná yóṣaṇā ||
Ihr zwei seid die Seherkräfte, o Aśvins: um den Wagen kreisend macht ihr die Völker sicher, wie Kutsa den Sänger vor dem Untergang bewahrt. Um euch, o Aśvins, ist eilends honigsüße Wonne; bringt sie herbei — wie eine Maid hervorbringt, was wohlbereitet und freigegeben ist.
