Sukta 10.36
अपां पेरुं जीवधन्यं भरामहे देवाव्यं सुहवमध्वरश्रियम् । सुरश्मिं सोममिन्द्रियं यमीमहि तद्देवानामवो अद्या वृणीमहे ॥
apā́m péruṃ jīvádhanyaṃ bharāmahe devā́vyaṃ suhávaṃ adhvaraśríyam | suraśmíṃ sómam indriyáṃ yamīmahi tád devā́nām ávo adyā́ vṛṇīmahe ||
Wir bringen hervor die „Furt“ der Wasser – lebensnährend, dem göttlichen Gang gemäß, leicht anzurufen, den Glanz des Opferwerks. Wir begehren, den strahlenreichen Soma, Indras indriya‑Kraft, an uns zu spannen; jene schützende Hilfe der Götter wählen wir heute.
