स इद्भोजो यो गृहवे ददात्यन्नकामाय चरते कृशाय । अरमस्मै भवति यामहूता उतापरीषु कृणुते सखायम् ॥

Transliteration

sá id bhójō yó gṛháve dadā́ty ánna-kāmāya cárate kṛśā́ya | áram asmai bhavati yā́ma-hūtā utā́parīṣu kṛṇute sákhāyam ||

Translation

Nur der ist der wahre Genießer (bhoja), der in seinem Haus dem mageren Wanderer, der nach Speise sucht, gibt. Für ihn werden die von der Not gerufenen Wege gerade und hinreichend; und selbst in den fernsten Durchgängen gewinnt er sich einen Freund.
