Sukta 10.111
दूरं किल प्रथमा जग्मुरासामिन्द्रस्य याः प्रसवे सस्रुरापः । क्व स्विदग्रं क्व बुध्न आसामापो मध्यं क्व वो नूनमन्तः ॥
dūráṃ kíla prathamā́ jagmur āsām índrasya yā́ḥ prasavé sasrúr ā́paḥ | kvà svíd ágraṃ kvà budhná āsām ā́po mádhyaṃ kvà vo nūnám ántaḥ ||
Fern, wahrlich, sind die ersten Wasser hingegangen – jene, die auf Indras Anstoß hervorströmten. Wo ist ihr Anfang, wo ihr Grund? O Wasser, wo ist eure Mitte, wo nun euer Ende im Innern?
