अध स्वनादुत बिभ्युः पतत्रिणो द्रप्सा यत्ते यवसादो व्यस्थिरन् । सुगं तत्ते तावकेभ्यो रथेभ्योऽग्ने सख्ये मा रिषामा वयं तव ॥

ádha svanā́d uta bíbhyuḥ patatríṇo drapsā́ yát te yavasā́do vy àsthiran | sugáṃ tát te tāvakébhyo rathébhyo 'gne sakhyé mā́ riṣāmā vayáṃ táva ||

Dann, bei deinem dröhnenden Laut, erzittern selbst die Geflügelten; die Tropfen, die sich vom Lebenssaft nähren, werden auseinander verstreut. Mache uns das Fahren deiner Wagen zu einem glücklichen Übergang; o Agni, in deiner Freundschaft mögen wir keinen Schaden leiden — wir, die wir die Deinen sind.
