अच्छिद्रा सूनो सहसो नो अद्य स्तोतृभ्यो मित्रमहः शर्म यच्छ । अग्ने गृणन्तमंहस उरुष्योर्जो नपात्पूर्भिरायसीभिः ॥
ácchidrā sū́no sahaso no adyá stotṛ́bhyo mitra-mahaḥ śárma yaccha | ágne gṛṇántaṃ áṃhasa uruṣya ūrjó napāt pū́rbhir ā́yasībhiḥ ||
Du Makelloser, Sohn der Kraft: gewähre uns heute — den Sängern — deinen weiten Frieden, o großer Freund. O Agni, schirme den Lobpreisenden vor Bedrängnis; o Kind der Fülle, befestige uns mit eisernen Wällen.
