Sukta 1.173
मो षू ण इन्द्रात्र पृत्सु देवैरस्ति हि ष्मा ते शुष्मिन्नवयाः । महश्चिद्यस्य मीळ्हुषो यव्या हविष्मतो मरुतो वन्दते गीः ॥
mó ṣū́ ṇa indrā́tra pṛtsú deváir ásti hí ṣmā te śuṣmin avayā́ḥ | máhaś cid yásya mīḷhúṣo yavyā́ havíṣmato marúto vándate gī́ḥ ||
Verlass uns hier nicht, o Indra, in den Kämpfen unter den Göttern; denn wahrlich, o Gewaltiger, deine Schutze sind gegenwärtig. Groß ist wahrlich jener gnädige Spender, dessen uraltes, dargebrachtes Opfer die Maruts mit ihrem Gesang grüßen.
