Sukta 1.159
ते मायिनो ममिरे सुप्रचेतसो जामी सयोनी मिथुना समोकसा । नव्यंनव्यं तन्तुमा तन्वते दिवि समुद्रे अन्तः कवयः सुदीतयः ॥
té māyíno mamire su-prá-cetasā jāmī́ sáyonī mithunā́ sam-okasā́ | návyaṃ-navyaṃ tántum ā́ tanvate diví samudré ántaḥ kaváyaḥ su-dītáyaḥ ||
Diese beiden, Meister der Māyā (der gestaltenden Kraft), maßen mit lichtvoller Einsicht aus: verwandt, aus einem Schoß, als zweieiniges Paar in einem Haus. Immer wieder spannen sie den Faden des Werdens — im Himmel und in der Tiefe des Ozeans; die Seher, hell entflammt, weben die Welten.
