स्विध्मा यद्वनधितिरपस्यात्सूरो अध्वरे परि रोधना गोः । यद्ध प्रभासि कृत्व्याँ अनु द्यूननर्विशे पश्विषे तुराय ॥

Transliteration

svi-dhmá̄ yád vana-dhítir apasyá̄t sú̄ro adhvaré pári ródhanā góḥ | yád dha pra-bhá̄si kṛ́tvyāṃ ánu dyú̄n ánarviśe paśv-íṣe turá̄ya ||

Translation

Wahrlich: Wenn das wohlentfachte Holz (svidhmā) seinen Dienst vollbringt, umschreitet Sūrya im Adhvara die Umhegung der Kuh (Go). Und wenn du hervorleuchtest, Tag um Tag dem bildenden Werk folgend, kommst du zum ungebrochenen Zuwachs und zum schnellen Gewinn der Herden – für den Mann und für das Vieh.
