स त्वं न इन्द्र सूर्ये सो अप्स्वनागास्त्व आ भज जीवशंसे । मान्तरां भुजमा रीरिषो नः श्रद्धितं ते महत इन्द्रियाय ॥
sá tváṃ na indra sū́rye só apsv anāgā́s-tvé ā́ bhaja jīvaśaṃsé | mā́ntarāṃ bhújam ā́ rīriṣo naḥ śráddhitaṃ te mahatá indriyā́ya ||
Sei du für uns, o Indra, in der Sonne; sei du für uns in den Wassern — teile mit uns deinen schuldlosen Schutz zur Hoffnung des Lebens. Verwunde uns nicht im mittleren Griff; wir haben unser Vertrauen auf deine große indrianische Macht gesetzt.
