Bringe mit gebührender Ehrung Romapāda herbei, den ruhmreichen Herrn von Aṅga, glückbegünstigt und berühmt, den Freund des Löwen unter den Königen.
Bring with honour king of Anga, Romapada, famous and prosperous. He is an intimate friend of the king (Dasaratha).
Dharma here is the etiquette of honoring worthy guests and allies (susatkāra), especially when inviting them to a sacred act meant for the welfare of the realm.
Vasiṣṭha continues the invitation list, asking Sumantra to escort Romapāda of Aṅga with proper honors.
Romapāda’s public virtue is yaśas (good repute), indicating a ruler respected for conduct and standing.
