गङ्गातरणम्, सुमन्त्र-प्रतिनिवर्तनम्, जटाधारणम्
Crossing the Gaṅgā; Sumantra’s Return; Adoption of Ascetic Signs
मम प्रियार्थं राज्ञश्च सरथस्त्वं पुरीं व्रज ।
सन्दिष्टश्चासि यानर्थांस्तां स्तान् ब्रूयास्तथा तथा ॥६४॥
mama priyārthaṃ rājñaś ca sa-rathas tvaṃ purīṃ vraja |
sandiṣṭaś cāsi yān arthāṃs tāṃs tān brūyās tathā tathā ||64||
Um meinetwillen —und auch um des Königs willen— kehre mit dem Wagen in die Stadt zurück; und wie dir aufgetragen wurde, überbringe jedem die Botschaften genau in der gegebenen Weise.
Sumantra, return to the city with the chariot for my pleasure and also for the pleasure of the king and convey to each of the persons concerned the message exactly as instructed.
