Taking and Dasaratha’s Collapse
सोऽन्तःपुरमतीत्यैव स्त्रियस्ता वाक्यमब्रवीत्।आर्याह्वयति वो राजा गम्यतां तत्र मा चिरम्।।।।
so 'ntaḥpuram atītyaiva striyas tā vākyam abravīt | āryāhvayati vo rājā gamyatāṃ tatra mā ciram ||
Als er die inneren Gemächer betrat, sprach Sumantra zu den Frauen: „Ehrwürdige Damen, der König ruft euch; geht dorthin, zögert nicht.“
O venerable ones, king Dasaratha summons you. Go there without delay, said Sumantra to the king's consorts after crossing the inner apartment.
