Sukta 32
रु॒द्रो वो॑ ग्री॒वा अश॑रैत् पिशाचाः पृ॒ष्टीर्वोऽपि॑ शृणातु यातुधानाः । वी॒रुद् वो॑ वि॒श्वतो॑वीर्या य॒मेन॒ सम॑जीगमत्
rudró vo grīvā́ aśarait piśācāḥ pṛṣṭī́r vo ’pí śṛṇātu yātudhānāḥ | vīrúd vo viśváto-vīryā́ yaména sám ajīgamat ||
May Rudra smite your necks, O Piśācas; may he also crush your backs, O Yātudhānas. The all-potent creeper-plant, with Yama, hath wholly borne you off.
Möge Rudra eure Nacken treffen, o Piśācas; möge er auch eure Rücken zerschmettern, o Yātudhānas. Die allmächtige Kletterpflanze, Virudh, ist mit Yama gekommen und hat euch gänzlich fortgetragen.
