Zum Gewinn von Glanz — führe diesen Menschen empor, o Agni, wenn du mit Ghee (ghṛta) dargebracht bist. Verbinde ihn mit strahlender Kraft (varcas) und mache ihn reich an Nachkommenschaft.

इन्द्रे॒मं प्र॑त॒रं कृ॑धि सजा॒ताना॑मसद् व॒शी। रा॒यस्पोषे॑ण॒ सं सृ॑ज जी॒वात॑वे ज॒रसे॑ नय
O Indra, mache diesen Menschen hervorragender; unter seinesgleichen sei er der Gebieter. Verbinde ihn mit Reichtum und Gedeihen; führe ihn zum Leben, führe ihn bis ins Alter.

यस्य॑ कृ॒ण्मो ह॒विर्गृ॒हे तम॑ग्ने वर्धया॒ त्वम्। तस्मै॒ सोमो॒ अधि॑ ब्रवद॒यं च॒ ब्रह्म॑ण॒स्पतिः॑
Wessen Haus wir mit der Opfergabe (havis) ehren — den, o Agni, lass du wachsen. Zu ihm hat Soma zustimmend gesprochen, und auch dieser Brahmaṇaspati.
