धी॒भिः कृ॒तः प्र व॑दाति॒ वाच॒मुद्ध॑र्षय॒ सत्व॑ना॒मायु॑धानि । इन्द्र॑मेदी॒ सत्व॑नो॒ नि ह्व॑यस्व मि॒त्रैर॒मित्राँ॒ अव॑ जङ्घनीहि
dhī́bhiḥ kr̥táḥ prá vadāti vā́cam úd-dharṣaya sátvanām ā́yudhāni | índram-edī sátvano ní hvayasva mitráir amítrā́n áva jaṅghanīhi ||
With hallowed thoughts, being duly fashioned, he speaketh forth the potent Word: rouse up the weapons of the warriors. O Indra-seeking champion, call Indra down; with friends strike down, yea trample under, the unfriendly foes.
Mit geheiligten Gedanken, recht bereitet, spricht er das machtvolle Wort (vāc) hervor: erwecke die Waffen der Krieger. O Indra-suchender Kämpfer, rufe Indra herab; mit Freunden schlage nieder, ja zertrete die feindseligen Gegner.
