That which your Father cooketh for you, and that which also your Mother—unto release from blemish and from sin, and from the fault of speech—that porridge, hundred-streamed, heaven-winning, hath with its majesty filled both the firmaments.
Rishi: Atharvanic tradition (anukramaṇī-dependent).
Devata: Odana as sacralized offering; implicit svarga and cosmic ‘nabhases’.
Chandas: Triṣṭubh tendency (confirm by syllable count).
Primary: shanta
Secondary: karuna
