तस्यातिक्रमे शुल्कं स्त्रीधनमर्धं चाधिवेदनिकं दद्यात् चतुर्विंशतिपणपरं च दण्डम् ॥ कZ_०३.२.४० ॥
tasyātikrame śulkaṃ strīdhanamardhaṃ cādhivedanikaṃ dadyāt caturviṃśatipaṇaparaṃ ca daṇḍam
Wenn er diese Vorschrift verletzt, hat er den Brautpreis (śulka) zu zahlen, das Vermögen der Frau (strīdhana) zurückzuerstatten und außerdem die Hälfte als adhivedanika-Entschädigung zu geben; zudem wird er mit einer Geldstrafe bis zu vierundzwanzig paṇas belegt.
