शरीरप्रकृतिश्रुतवृत्तिजनपदानां शरीरोपवादे काणखञ्जादिभिः सत्ये त्रिपणो दण्डः मिथ्योपवादे षट्पणो दण्डः ॥ कZ_०३.१८.०२ ॥
śarīraprakṛtiśrutavṛttijanapadānāṃ śarīropavāde kāṇakhañjādibhiḥ satye tripaṇo daṇḍaḥ mithyopavāde ṣaṭpaṇo daṇḍaḥ
Bei Verleumdung, die sich gegen den Körper, die Natur/Veranlagung, Bildung/Ruf, Lebensunterhalt/Verhalten oder Herkunft/Ortschaft einer Person richtet—unter Verwendung von Ausdrücken wie „einäugig“, „lahm“ u. Ä.—beträgt die Geldbuße 3 paṇa, wenn die Behauptung wahr ist; ist die Verleumdung falsch, beträgt die Geldbuße 6 paṇa.
