पवस्व वाजसातये विप्रस्य गृणतो वृधे । सोम रास्व सुवीर्यम् ॥

হে সোম, বাজ-লাভের জন্য নিজেকে পবিত্র কর; স্তবকারী বিপ্র (ঋষি)-এর বৃদ্ধির জন্য। আমাদের সুবীর্য—শ্রেষ্ঠ বীরশক্তি—দান কর।
