दिवश्चिद्रोचनादध्या नो गन्तं स्वर्विदा । धीभिर्वत्सप्रचेतसा स्तोमेभिर्हवनश्रुता ॥

diváś cid rocanā́d adhyā́ nó gantaṃ svar-vidā | dhī́bhir vatsa-pracetasā stómebhir havana-śrutā ||

দিব্যলোকের দীপ্ত রোচন থেকেও—হে স্বর্লোক/সূর্যলোক-বিদ (স্বর্বিদা)—আমাদের কাছে এসো। হে বৎসসম প্রচেতস্ (প্রিয় শিশুর ন্যায় স্বচ্ছবুদ্ধি), আমাদের ধী (প্রেরিত বুদ্ধি) ও স্তোত্রের দ্বারা—হে হवनশ্রুত (আহ্বান-শ্রোতা)—আগমন করো।
