अभि प्र वः सुराधसमिन्द्रमर्च यथा विदे । यो जरितृभ्यो मघवा पुरूवसुः सहस्रेणेव शिक्षति ॥
abhí prá vaḥ su-rā́dhasam índram arca yáthā vidé | yó jaritṛ́bhyo maghávā purū-vásuḥ sahásreṇeva śíkṣati ||
হে জনগণ, সুদানের অধিকারী ইন্দ্রকে উদ্দেশ করে উচ্চস্বরে স্তব করো, যাতে তোমরা তাঁকে জানতে ও উপলব্ধি করতে পারো। তিনি মঘবা—বহুবসু-সমৃদ্ধ দানবীর—জরিতৃ (স্তোতাকে) যেন সহস্রগুণ শক্তিতে শিক্ষা দেন ও সমৃদ্ধ করেন।
