उपायातं दाशुषे मर्त्याय रथेन वाममश्विना वहन्ता । युयुतमस्मदनिराममीवां दिवा नक्तं माध्वी त्रासीथां नः ॥

upā́yātaṃ dāśúṣe mártyāya ráthena vāmám aśvinā váhantā | yuyutám asmád anirā́m amī́vāṃ divā́ náktaṃ mādhvī́ trā́sīthāṃ naḥ ||

হে অশ্বিনৌ, দান-যজ্ঞকারী মর্ত্যের নিকট এসো, তোমাদের সুন্দর রথে আরূঢ় হয়ে। আমাদের থেকে সেই রোগ দূরে সরাও যা আনন্দ আনে না; হে মধুময় (মাধ্বী) শক্তিগণ, দিনে ও রাতে আমাদের রক্ষা করো।
