पृष्टो दिवि धाय्यग्निः पृथिव्यां नेता सिन्धूनां वृषभः स्तियानाम् । स मानुषीरभि विशो वि भाति वैश्वानरो वावृधानो वरेण ॥
pṛṣṭó diví dhāyy agníḥ pṛthivyā́ṃ netā́ síndhūnāṃ vṛṣabháḥ stiyā́nām | sá mā́nuṣīr abhí víśo ví bhāti vaiśvānaró vāvṛdhānó váreṇa ||
দীপ্তিমান স্বর্গলোকে প্রতিষ্ঠিত অগ্নি, পৃথিবীতে তিনি সিন্ধু-ধারার নেতা এবং স্থির ভিত্তির বৃষভ। তিনি মানব-জনসমূহের সকল বিশের উপর দীপ্ত হন—বৈশ্বানর, বর (নির্বাচিত শ্রেষ্ঠ গুণ) দ্বারা বর্ধমান, অন্তর্জ্যোতির ক্ষেত্র প্রসারিতকারী।
