आ ते पितर्मरुतां सुम्नमेतु मा नः सूर्यस्य संदृशो युयोथाः । अभि नो वीरो अर्वति क्षमेत प्र जायेमहि रुद्र प्रजाभिः ॥

ā́ te pitaḥ marútāṃ sumnám etu mā́ naḥ sū́ryasya sam-dṛ́śo yuyothāḥ | abhí no vīró árvati kṣameta prá jāyemahi rudra pra-jā́bhiḥ ||

হে মরুতদের পিতা, তোমার সুম্ন (অনুগ্রহ) আমাদের কাছে আসুক; সূর্যের দর্শন থেকে আমাদের দূরে সরিয়ে দিও না। আমাদের মধ্যে বীরশক্তি বিকশিত হোক; হে রুদ্র, প্রজাসহ আমরা অগ্রসর হয়ে জন্ম লাভ করি—সত্য বিকাশে।
