त्वामु ते स्वाभुवः शुम्भन्त्यश्वराधसः । वेति त्वामुपसेचनी वि वो मद ऋजीतिरग्न आहुतिर्विवक्षसे ॥
tvā́m u te svābhúvaḥ śúmbhanty áśvarādhasaḥ | véti tvā́m upasécanī ví vo made ṛ́jītir agne ā́hutir vívakṣase ||
হে অগ্নি! স্বাভুবঃ (স্বয়ংসিদ্ধ শক্তি) তোমাকেই অলংকৃত করে—তুমি অশ্বরাধস (বেগ-সমৃদ্ধ)। তোমার দিকেই উপসেচনী (অর্পণ-ধারা) প্রবাহিত হয়; আমাদের মদ (উৎসাহ)-এর মধ্যে ঋজীতি (সোজা-গামী) আহুতি তোমার প্রতি নিজেকে প্রকাশ করতে চায়।
