Sukta 1.33
चक्राणासः परीणहं पृथिव्या हिरण्येन मणिना शुम्भमानाः । न हिन्वानासस्तितिरुस्त इन्द्रं परि स्पशो अदधात्सूर्येण ॥
cakrāṇā́saḥ parīṇáhaṃ pṛthivyā́ hiráṇyena maṇínā śúmbhamānāḥ | na hinvāṇā́sas titirús ta índraṃ pári spáśo adadhāt sū́ryeṇa ||
তারা পৃথিবীর চারদিকে আবর্তিত বেষ্টনী-বন্ধনী ধারণ করে, স্বর্ণমণির ন্যায় দীপ্তিমান হয়ে—নিজেদের তাড়নায়ও ইন্দ্রকে অতিক্রম করতে পারল না। ইন্দ্রের চারদিকে প্রহরীরা সূর্যকে সঙ্গে নিয়ে এক বৃত্ত স্থাপন করল—যেন আলোই বলের অধিপতিকে রক্ষা করে।
