Sukta 1.113
ईयुष्टे ये पूर्वतरामपश्यन्व्युच्छन्तीमुषसं मर्त्यासः । अस्माभिरू नु प्रतिचक्ष्याभूदो ते यन्ति ये अपरीषु पश्यान् ॥
īyúṣ ṭe yé pū́rvatārām ápaśyan vyucchántīm uṣásaṁ mártyāsaḥ | asmā́bhir ū́ nú praticákṣyā abhūd ó te yánti yé aparī́ṣu páśyān ||
তারা চলে গেছে—সেই মর্ত্যরা, যারা পূর্বতর উষাকে উদিত হতে দেখেছিল। এখন সেই উষা আমাদের কাছে প্রত্যক্ষ হয়েছে; কিন্তু তারা তো অগ্রসর হয়ে যায়—যারা দেখেও দূরবর্তী পরাপ্রদেশেই থেকে যায়।
