Sukta 8.3
निरग्नयो रुरुचुर्निरु सूर्यो निः सोम इन्द्रियो रसः । निरन्तरिक्षादधमो महामहिं कृषे तदिन्द्र पौंस्यम् ॥
nír agnáyo rurucuḥ nír u sū́ryo níḥ sóma indriyó ráso | nír antárikṣād adhamo mahā́m áhíṃ kṛṣé tád indra paúṃsyam ||
অগ্নিসকল উজ্জ্বল হৈ বাহিৰলৈ দীপ্ত হ’ল; সূৰ্য উঠি আহিল; সোম—ইন্দ্ৰীয় ৰস, ইন্দ্ৰ-শক্তিৰ সাৰ—বাহিৰলৈ প্ৰবাহিত হ’ল। তই অন্তৰিক্ষৰ তলৰ পৰা মহামহি সৰ্পক টানি বাহিৰ কৰিলি—হে ইন্দ্ৰ, এইয়াই তোৰ পৌংস্যম্, বিজয়ী বীৰ্য।
