कया नो अग्ने वि वसः सुवृक्तिं कामु स्वधामृणवः शस्यमानः । कदा भवेम पतयः सुदत्र रायो वन्तारो दुष्टरस्य साधोः ॥
kayā́ no agne ví vasah suvṛktíṃ kā́m u svadhā́m ṛṇavaḥ śasyámānaḥ | kadā́ bhavema pátayaḥ sudatra rāyó vantā́ro duṣṭárasya sādhóḥ ||
কোন পথেদি, হে অগ্নি, তুমি আমাৰ বাবে সু-বক্তি—সুন্দৰ স্তোত্ৰবাণী—উন্মুক্ত কৰিবা? আৰু কোন কামনাৰে, আমি প্ৰশংসিত হৈ থাকোঁতে, তুমি স্বধা (স্ব-নিয়ম/নিজ শক্তি) দান কৰিবা? কেতিয়া আমি, হে সুধাতৃ (সু-দাতা), ধনৰ অধিপতি হ’ম—দুৰ্গম সিদ্ধিৰ বিজয়ী হৈ, ঐশ্বৰ্যৰ ভোগী হ’ম?
